THE LEATHER
The leather on this strap is Cowhide from tannery Horween. One of the most popular of the Horween leathers, Aniline Chromexcel is hot-stuffed so that oils and greases can be infused into the leather to make it supple and durable. Hand-staining is done in several colors. Natural grain, rich pull-up, and gentle softness are the hallmarks of the leather.
STITCHING AND THREAD
Each strap is lined by a soft leather backing called Zermatt and held together by a durable linen thread.
The artisans use saddle-stitch techniques to hand-sew the leather, which is more durable and sturdy.
